Charity Opera Gala - Debut at the Russell-Cotes in association with the Bournemouth Emerging Arts Fringe
An exclusive opportunity to experience sublime classical music in the unique setting of the Russell-Cotes.
Debut brings their groundbreaking Classical Concert Series (as featured in Dorset Living & Opera Now) to Bournemouth. This unforgettable evening throws open the doors of Merton Russell-Cotes’ home and invites you in for a night of opera, conversation with the artists and delightful insights into the world of classical music and the Museum itself.
Join Dorset born soprano Lizzie Holmes (La Bohème at the Trafalgar Studios, Oliver Awards Nominee 2018; The Phantom of the Opera, West End; The Grange Festival); tenor Joel Williams (Royal College of Music; Opera Holland Park; Opéra de Paris) and award-winning pianist Jo Ramadan as they share pieces from the time of Russell-Cotes.
On arrival enjoy a free welcome drink with the musicians and then sit back and enjoy the concert!
Expect to hear works from the era of East Cliff Hall, including Debussy, Puccini, Lehár, Vaughan Williams and Gershwi

Many of our musical instruments are not on display to the public. For this night only, Curator Duncan Walker will present some of these exotic instruments from across the world.
Tickets are £35 and include a glass of wine, doors open at 6.30pm.
